versions of this
catalog being planned for publication Spring, 2010.

and not a deposit. No further payment is due upon publication.
 As
with previous editions, Subscribers will have access to a private website while the book is being produced,
with images of all the covers
added as they are imaged and cataloged This site also will have the archive of Subscribers
Newsletters, with details
and anecdotes about the designs, and the continually updated database file of the collection for download by subscribers. There are also 19th
century reference items that have been converted to PDF format.
Librarians
use this information to
remove books from circulation and bring them to the Special Collections
environment, saving them from further wear or loss. Curators,
collectors and dealers use the information to
purchase the few
remaining copies of books that are available.
