In the summer of 1990 Minsky made a series of paper pulp paintings while Artist in Residence at Ox-Bow, the summer school of the Art Institute of Chicago. These were done using squeeze bottles filled with colored paper pulp. The self portrait the above print is adapted from is now in the collection of Hudson County Community College.

The print now offered is a 2021 adaptation of the pulp painting, digitally reworked, and printed 12" x 18" on 13" x 19" paper. The shadows at the edge of the image are illusionist. The print is flat.
