the story of Tom Phillips' Dante's Inferno giant
fire disaster (with photos), and meetings with the
British from the Heralds at
the Garter Service to artists, punk rockers and
bookbinders.

front cover printed archival inkjet on canvas with
the same Pat Gorman design and Gerald Mynott
caricature as those bound in 1980, back cover
screen printed in 1980, new spine title in 22K
gold. Three AP copies were missing for more than
30 years, with all the photos mounted and the
books sewn, ready for covers. They had been safely
packed in the bottom of a box of other things for
a move in 1984, without being noted on the box.
